Has anyone done this in Cozumel? Can you tell me a little bit about it? The pictures look great!

Patty, we went there two years ago. It was a very nice beach with some ok snorkling places. If I remember right, there is a volleyball net, water trampoline, and children's playground right by the beach. It got VERY crowded after noon, but we got there first thing in the morning and enjoyed most of the beach to ourselves. Now, when we were there, there was no charge for admission (which they do have now), but they charged for chairs, umbrellas, and drinks. It has changed a bit since then from what I read and now you pay an admission fee and everything is included. What a deal!:)

On their website for a 15% discount. So for a family plan for the all inclusive it would be $119. Just trying to figure out if that is a good deal or not.

a taxi ride would cost you about $10 one way (?). So for less than $130 you and your family would have a day at the beach with food, as opposed to say the DCL beach excursion there that costs $49pp over age 9. For a family of four with children over the age of 9, that would run $196 for the day!
It pays to do things on your own!:)

do you think that it is worth it? I have 14 year old twins. Is there enough to keep them occupied? Did you do the all inclusive? Can you rent diving equipment there? We are thinking
about Chankanaab also on our own. Cozumel excursions are so
difficult to decide.

I know what you mean about Cozumel excursions! There is a lot to choose from! :)
As far as your two 14 yos have plenty to do at Playa Sol...DEFINATELY!:) They can play volleyball, swim, snorkel (equipment for rent there...not sure about scuba), jump on the water trampoline, parasail, lounge on the beach, etc.
We did not do the all inclusive as they did not have that option when we went. I think it is a good deal because there is alot to do there. However, I have heard good things about Chankanaab too and heard that diving is better at Chankanaab. Just a thought! Good luck deciding, I am still waffling between several options! LOL
