I know that I shouldn't have waited this long...but working 2 jobs 7 days a week and just having my DD in the hospital for a week-----I am unfortunately in this position.

My DD wants the Dora Talking Kitchen and it seems impossible to find one and I am not even sure if I want to get it since the floor model at Toys R Us is bolted shut so I can't even see how it looks on the inside! The Cinderella one is pretty, but looks cheaply made. I don't want to spend more than $100 for one so there goes Little Tikes! Any recommendations???? Need to find something for her :guilty:

We got the Lifestyle dream kitchen (below) but it is over your $100 limit. It really is a pretty nice kitchen.

Personally its a huge line between the cheap and the spendy-

Personally if you are looking for it to last- Get either the Little Tykes or the Step 2 ones. They will run ya about 100 but they'll last atleast one generation if taken care of (we still have our Tykes one I got when I was 3...)

If you are looking for cheap- The Light and Sound Kitchen (from Walmart) is okay but I dont think itd last much at all...

The Dora seemed to be closer to the cheap end but since it talked... It drove up the price.

I havent seen the Cinderella one (we don't carry it at my store) so I cant comment

We have the Little Tykes one and it is nice. They have redone it since we bought it 2 years ago.

The one becka posted looks nice! :)

We have the lifestyle one also and it is great!

I think that you should go over 100 and make it last a long time. We had a L.T. one that lasted outside in rain and snow for many years.

we had a wooden one and loved it. They're pricey yes, but it'll last forever.

We have the Lifestyle one - it was a joint gift from Nana. My DD is playing with it right now. The kids love it, and there are plenty of drawers and cabinets to keep her busy. I like that it doesn't talk - there was one we looked at that spoke three languages!

We got it for $139 last year - and it was worth it.
