Play 4 Days Pass- how’s it work?

I was reading recently about the upcoming play 4-days pass. I have a few questions for my MIL who resides in FL.

-She mentioned that the local paper said it was available at the local Disney Store- Do you purchase the actual ticket at the store, or just a voucher to turn in at WDW? If it is just a voucher, do you have to show ID at both places?

Do they check for FL ID each time you enter the park with the pass, or do they just check for ID when you initially buy the pass? MIL and FIL do not like having to carry ID around in the parks.

-One of our younger nieces, who resides outside of FL will be going on a trip to WDW will MIL. Can FIL purchase a ticket at the DS or the theme park under his ID and let niece use the pass (I know it is not intended to work this way). They were not sure what kind of “security” precautions are used with this special pass.

It is a voucher. They will need to show a valid FL ID at Guest Relations at WDW when they exchange the voucher.

They have to use the finger scan. If the finger scan does not work, they will be asked to produce their ID. In this day and age, it's never a good idea to be out without an ID on your person.

You are correct, it's not. But they do not check the ID of anyone using a child's ticket so it can be done.
