Play 4 Days="Hopper"

With the Play 4 Days passes can you park "hop" on your 4 days. I would have thought not, until I read the following on Deb's site:


Florida Resident Play 4 Days Pass - Its back! Enjoy four days in the four Disney Theme Parks for just $109 (plus tax) for any Florida Resident. Disney's Play 4 Days Pass will let you *hop* between the Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park any four days (ticket cannot be used on July 4, 2003) from now until September 30, 2003.


If this is the case, this will be an added bonus to our trip!

Yes, Play4 passes have always been a nice treat for us FL residents when they offer them. You can park hop! They are just like a 4 day park hopper except they have an expiration day. We have used these in the past but are springing for the seasonal passes this time !

Where can you purchase these passes?

The Play 4 Days can be purchased at Florida Disney stores, at the WDW gates & some FL AAA locations, I would call first.
You will get a voucher for the pass & then you will have to prove FL residency at guest services at WDW in order to redeem the voucher for the actual pass. The first time you use it, they record your finger tips with a finger scan, then the scan must match each time you go through the gates. Keep your ID with you just in case the scan messes up, so you can prove YOU are YOU with no problems.
When your Play Four expires, they will offer you a FL Seasonal Pass for the going price minus the $109 that you paid for the Play 4. It's probably a good strategy to start with the Play 4, because the FL Seasonal Pass is blacked out from June 7 to Aug. 14 and the Play Four is only blacked out on July 4th. Please confirm all these details before you make your decision, things change & I'm no expert, I'm just trying to help with the experience I've had.

I don't think so, the Play 4 is a promotional thing to get us locals back into the parks. If you are not a FL resident, you are out of luck anyway.

It sounds like a good deal for us residents. You can essentially upgrade your pass to a seasonal and gwet the summer months included. It's like getting an annual pass for a $100 discount when all is said and done.
