Platinum Experiences

Sailing on the Fantasy in a few weeks, first trip as platinum! Has anyone actually had any on board platinum experiences on recent cruises? I've read that these have been hit or miss in the past, more miss, so just curious.

I think that they stopped doing these now. We cruised in December and there were none offered.

Nope. There are none.

I cruised on the Fantasy in dec. 2012.... Only plat. Offering was booking Palos. No more kitchen tours etc. but still the extra discount in the shops and we got a choice of wine or a fruit platter or one thing else they will deliver to your cabin. Wish they offered more or some that they took away.

Kind of figured. I hadn't read anything about them starting these up again. There is a current thread running that talks about galley tours being offered again, via guest services. That would be cool.

Follow up question though, what is the extra platinum part of the castaway club gift?

That sounded more like they are returning to the initial offering of a galley tour that was open to all guests, not an exclusive platinum experience.
