Plateaus...What's the longest you've endured?

After reading some threads, and the great encouragement as well, I was wondering what were some of your plateaus, time-wise? I know I'll reach one because I have before but, this time I'll have the WISHers. ;)

How long did you struggle through a plateau or, are you still enduring one and, how long has it been?

TIA

Kim

Well, I have been on one for two weeks now:sad2: .

I am hoping tomorrow the scale moves for me!

Well, there was that 8 year plateau at my highest weight :duck: , but there is the current one that is 4 months right now (darn that Christmas thing!) :rolleyes1 and believe me it is frustrating! Makes you almost want to say "to heck with it!"

I haven't lost any weight since January, I hate to admit. I've stayed on plan for the most part. I just started to exercise outdoors again since the weather has improved. If this doesn't start things moving again, I don't know what will. The older I get, the harder it gets to lose weight (and exercise!). My metabolism really needs a jum start.

Add me to the plauteau since January 2nd.....aarrggh! I've lowered my "goal" of 150 to 155. That leaves me 5 to go. I figure if I have been maintaining since Jan., maybe I am meant to be at this weight. SO, I am down to the last five. Very frustrating, but I WILL do it!!

i've been at this same weight since the hoildays -- just 5 lbs from goal. DUH!! i know what to do and what works for me I just can't shake the weekend cheating.

that probably isn't what you mean though. but frustrated with myself none-the-less

PD!! onward and downward

have you measured yourself? you may be losing fat and gaining muscle and a loss on the tape measure will reflect that for you!

I'm at almost 3 months..I go down, I go up like a little seesaw! Of course if I would stop going off plan and start exercising more it would probably help. Tomorrow i start the fast track program from WW...trying to drop 10 pounds by Mothers day

Over 4 months now. I seem to keep losing and gaining the same 2 lbs. Actually I went up a little as well from my all time low. Really hoping that this is the week I can break out of it!

I have been the same since about the end of November. I go up 2 and down 2. It gets really discouraging sometimes. I would like to lose about another 20lbs. I just need to fine tune what I'm doing and get in more exercise. Right now I have a lot of stress in my life and am very happy that I have maintained my loss for so long.

I was going to join that when it first started...but every time I join a challenge I do even worse then when I'm not in one...so I am an unofficial member of the challenge.;)

I was at a plateau for a year. I continued exercising and eating healthy and nothing changed whatsoever. SO after much frustration, I gave up eating healthy. I didn't gain any weight until my job changed and I didn't get as much exercise. THEN, I gained weight.
