We pretty much beat Christmas to death, by the end of the first week of November

So lets move ahead. What are your New Year's Eve plans?

Stay home, fire in the fireplace, surf and turf dinner in the dining room with candles and music, watch a movie, bring in the new year and go to sleep. :D

Geesh! can't we get passed Thanksgiving first?

Getting my Christmas decorations ready for Christmas 2003, of course! :p

Party - but now I have to talk Chris into it!!

Summer's Over???

I think staying home and watching Dick Clark again.

I'll be working...:(

LOL!
We will probably just stay home and have some munchies/picky foods and some cocktails. Last year at the last minute we ended up having our neighbors over for a little "party" if you want to call it that. The kids played and entertained each other and we just chilled out with the above mentioned munchies & cocktails.

That day will be more than a little bittersweet for me.

Not only is it New Year's Eve, it's my last day at work.

Me too!

Thanksgiving and New Years are my holidays to work this year.

At least I'll have off for the most important one, Christmas!

i also have to work, at least until 5. after that i don't know -- probably just a quiet night at home with dh. :teeth: ;)

I plan to spend it watching the bowl games and will probably have a large group of teenagers (my kids and their friends) here for barbecue and fireworks. We did that last year and had a great time.

Celebrating my youngest son's 4th birthday! :)
