My wife and DD's continually change our plans for our next trip to WDW. we have now decided that we will stay in 1 bedroom boardwalk view for 3 nights then onto HRH for 3 nights then remainder of stay at SSR 1 bedroom. Personally I just wanted to stay at BWVs but the kids want to try different resorts each year. Just booked the BWV now trying to get the rest booked and prices. Hope they dont decide to change again.

Can't you tell them when it's booked, it's booked? Or is that pushing it?

Will they not compromise and let you do half at BWV and split the remainder between SSR and HRH?

I don't think it's a bad choice, however you split it up. You have some great hotels lined up there. :thumbsup2

Well the first parts booked BWV, now trying to get the best price for HRH and then I will book the remainder at SSR as they want the dinning plan.

I havent stayed at HRH (Hoping to next year) but both BWV and SSR are lovely!

I think the BWV have recently been redone too so should be lovely :)

Have you stayed at SSR before? I would recommend looking at a map and putting a request in for your room location. The resort is huge but there are some really gorgeous areas! We stayed in the Grandstand area in December :)

Thanks Laura I have never stayed at SSR so dont know which is the best place to ask for. Im booking a 1 bedroom so any suggestions would be appreciated.

It depends what you are after. We loved the grandstand area for several reasons -

1. It was close to a pool. It wasnt the main pool but it had a bar for drinks and it also had the laundry room. There was also a fun area for kids with water cannons etc. They also had a bbq there that you could use if you wanted to.

2. It was close to a bus stop. The Grandstand was usually the first pick up and drop off point for the buses which was an added bonus.

3. It was a quiet location. We got a great vierw of the golf course and it was nice and peaceful.

It was also one of the closer areas to the main building without being right on top of it - maybe a 10 minute walk or less. They will take you and your luggage to/from the room when you arrive and depart though :)

Here is a link to the map of SSR - http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/SSMap.pdf

The Grandstand is at the bottom left of the screen. I cant remember our room number but it was in the group 8501-8836. They will have plenty of 1 bed villas there.

I just called Member services about a week before i left to put in my request :)
