Plans are going well!

We just got back from our most recent planning session and finally (after talking with him for weeks) got to meet with Tracy our EM. All went well, and looks like we are on our way! We decided on a lot of details changed a lot of details, and wrapped up our music choices with the organist for the Pavillion, who was the most wonderful man in the world and absolutely loved his job! We also did our food tasting and picked out our cake flavors. Walked out of there fuller than full, but I tell you the food was amazing and our guests are going to be in heaven! Also met with our Entertainment Planner, Andrew, who was another great guy, and gave us a lot of good ideas for our reception.

Has anyone worked with any of these wedding people before? Just want to see if there are going to be any surprises waiting for me down the road...

I had my planning meeting with Tracy in December although he's actually not my EM but I loved him and I've heard nothing but good things about him. You are very lucky to have Tracy.

Andrew is a star - although I have not met him I have exchanged numerous emails with him.

I trust them both with my wedding for sure

what is your menu? and where are you going to hold for your reception ? did you choose disney or did you use any vendor?

We had Tracy for our wedding on November 28, 2003. He was the best!! Sooooo, helpful and genuine. We are great friends now and email frequently still. No matter what I needed and how many times I changed something he was still as nice as could be. He really made me feel like I was his only bride, never once did I think my wedding was less important than someone elses. My wedding was the day after Thanksgiving and my whole family as well as my husband's was there the whole week before. He met whenever need be during the days before and was there for it all!! I is truly a diamond in the ruff.

Andrew has also been great! I didn't speak with him anymore after our final decisions were made on entertainment, but I had to email him just this month regarding my wedding album and he was as nice as could be and answered my questions very promptly or directed me to whom would be best to.

Have a great time at your wedding!! Enjoy every moment as it will pass quickly.

P.S. If you do like your time with Tracy and become as close as I did the one thing I recommend is taking a picture with him. That is the one thing I regret not doing. He is always "behind the scenes" during the wedding that I totally didn't think about doing it and now regret it.

OH GOOD!

I am so glad you all like him. Actually I do too! We were down in early March and we met with him again to do a little more planning and discuss some of the emails we had exchanged in between and he was just as great as the first time we met. I talk to him at least once a week on the phone and email about as much. He is more wonderful than I could have hoped for. And same here, doesn't get annoyed with me everytime I add something or change something...and that happens a lot! I am anal, what can I say!

To answer louisaho, we are having our coctails on the Isola in Italy in Epcot, and the recption in the American Adventure Rotunda, with the Illuminations Desert Party .

Our menu for dinner is the tri-plated dish of salmon, filet mignon, and grilled chicken served with garlic smashed potatoes, vegetable slaw, and balsamic marinated veggies. We chose a Florida citrus salad with baby greens as well.

jenny I so forgot to tell you that Tracy ended up being our EM. Our original EM left to go to the Contemporary so we got Tracy too. Isn't he a peach? I love chatting with him and emailing him. He's done me so many favours too. He also is such a huge calming influence cos all I think about is that nothing will go wrong as Tracy will either not let anything go wrong or he'll smooth it over so I won't notice LOL.


With only 4 weeks to go before I leave for WDW I'm now trying to decided what to get him as a gift, any ideas ?
