I'm going to be choosing fast passes next week so I need to make some decisions. How do you decide how much time to spend in each park?
Currently I have three days in MK, two in Epcot, two in AK, one in HS. I'm not counting travel days. All three MK days are party days so we'll go to Disney Springs on one of the evenings. Trip dates are 12-8 to 12-17 but only in parks 12-9 to 12-16. It's my husband and myself and our 18 and 22 year olds. We'll ride anything.

I'm so overwhelmed trying to decide. I've been thinking about deleting one MK day and adding a second HS day giving us two whole days for each park but I don't know if we'll need that second HS day. We're not buying hoppers. It would only be that day we'd hop. This is our first non summer trip.

Advice??

with that much park time, you can relax - you can get to everything you want and shouldn't have to worry about lines. Read the FP FAQ and choose your top priorities, splitting up any tiers or tough ones over the two days. Also read up on using "Refresh" for fast passes. You guys should really be able to take advantage of extra FPs during your days.

As far as 3 MK, 1 HS, that really depends how much your family loves rides like RnR and Tower of Terror. You can get HS done in a full day and having extra time to take it easy and enjoy MK is always good.

I would keep 3 MK Days. More to do there than at HS. We love HS and all the SW stuff, but one day is plenty.
Loved the SW dessert party too!

I would switch one of the MK days for a non-party day, or add hopper to hop there one night, to see fireworks. Yes, the park is more crowded on non-party days, but the fireworks are phenomenal, and it would be a shame if you miss them, with such a nice long trip.

I would definitely consider adding hoppers to give you some flexibility, especially during party season. Do you want to see HEA?

I don't think you need two full days at HS. However if you had hoppers you could go somewhere else in the morning then go over for an evening to see TSL at night. You could also pop into MK for HEA and spend most of the day somewhere else on a non-party day.

Where are you staying?

We do love RNR and TOT but if we can get two rides on each, everyone will be happy. I think the stuff in Toy Story Land will be nice to see but I feel like one ride will suffice. Can we plan on seeing Jingle Bell Jam AND Fantasmic the same night?

Haven't looked at park hours for your days, but plan on AK FP's starting on 60+4 or 60+5 day. Look for FOP FP 1st when you day/time opens. Then what ride you want a FP next. You don't have to do your FPs in order of days/parks. Slinky dog would be next for me, 60+3 day on. Then Minetrain, then Soarin'.

Have a great time!

The plus for hoppers is we could go back to MK for the nightime fireworks on a non party night. We've never gotten hoppers before so I was thinking we'd get them and not use them. We're a one park per day type. But this is the first time we've gone during a party time.

We love being able to hop, especially during party season. Take advantage of low crowds on party days and then go to another park for the evening.... avoid the crazy MK non party days but then hop over for HEA, etc.

We're onsite in a cabin at Ft Wilderness. I'd like some time to explore there too. I'm planning our AK days later so to hopefully get a FOP FP. That whole land will be new for us.
