I definitely want a white cake, not sure what kind of filling, buttercream sounds good. I should look up pics.

And as for cake flavors, after reading the cake page on magicalkingdoms.com, I think I want these flavors:
-yellow cake with white chocolate mousse
-almond cake with amaretto mouse (this is the EXACT cake flavor I had for my "faux" Sweet Sixteen...lol)
-red velvet with cream cheese

Of course, I'd have to wait for the planning session to stuff my face with cake to make a final decision...LOL!

for my cake: 1 layer was italian creme cake with italian creme filling and the 2nd layer was raspberry cake with amaretto filling.

My DH's grooms cake was: 1st layer was Kahlua Mocha cake with mocha filling and the second layer chocolate Amaretto with amaretto filling

This is the same basic thought I have in my head for my cakes. I love them, they look great.

Wow, your cakes not only look amazing, but they sound amazing too, especially that raspberry/amaretto and kahlua mocha/mocha. What exactly is Italian creme cake and filling? I've never heard of it.

I had the yellow cake with white chocolate mousse at my friend's DFTW and it was to die for. It was the best cake I have ever had. I'm also a huge fan of red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, so I definitely want that.

Yup! I'm running the WDW half marathon and volunteering for the full marathon. I'm pretty excited about it, although there is a chance I may not be able to attend

Personal reasons. DBF is in the process of interviewing with two different companies, one in Baton Rouge and the other in Chicago. We're really rooting for the Chicago job . If he gets it we'll probably be moving before the end of the year, possibly even before or right after Thanksgiving. I don't know if I could afford to fly to Palm Beach for Christmas with my family and then fly to Orlando just 2 weeks later for the marathon. I priced it out and for airfare, hotel, and transportation alone it would be right around $700 for a Thursday-Monday trip at one of the Downtown Disney hotels
