Planning Weddings for those Not-yet Engaged!

I'm going out tonight to a street party and bar hop party at our entertainment district. I'm dressing up, and going with my friends that I haven't seen in a month or two. I am excited.

I'd love to go out with some friends, but everyone is spending today with family.

eh. DH and I are staying in. One of our friends in Dallas is having people over to her and her fiance's house, but that's too far to drive back here with a bunch of drunk people on the road...so we'll stay in and have a few drinks here.

dbf and I are going out to dinner with his best friend and wife. It should be fun, a nice romantic restarant with a 5 course new years eve dinner!

How was everyone's New Year's? Did any of you make any resolutions? I'm making DBF and I eat healthier and I'm trying to cook more. Poor meat-loving DBF is going to have to suffer through meat-free food whenever I cook

I did however finally see DBF today. We went to see Yes Man and I got half of my Christmas present, a USB full of awesome music.

OMG girls, exciting news: DBF got the job in Louisiana!!! We're moving!!! I have no idea when, all the details still need to be worked out, but its happening!!! And hopefully it will be soon-ish. Hopefully by next week everything will be worked out and we can start looking for an apartment and packing (and looking for a job for me!) A tiny part of me hopes to be there by the end of January/beginning of February because the Beauty and the Beast musical is at one of the performing arts centers in New Orleans

New Years was okay here. My friend Rick came over and spent it with my family and I. We got him to try the Wii Fit, it was fun. We are talking about seeing Yes Man tonight, it'll be my first time out since my surgery (minus Doctor's appointments and therapy), so it'll be good if we go

Well it's been a while since we talked weddings so guess what? Eric and I spent yesterday with my mom and every chance he gets he likes to tell people he's marrying me So anyway we started talking about weddings...AND he LOVES the idea of a DFTW and has said yes!! To a WISHES wedding!!

I know he hasn't asked my parents to marry me yet, but I think it's probably coming within the next 6 months or so, maybe on our vacation.

YAY! Mom and I have been doing a bit of research and window-shopping online for wedding dresses!
