Hi. My mom and I are going to Orlando this summer and we're shooting for June 7-11. We've been researching hotels and whatnot for a few weeks now. Our plans our to spend a few days at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure and then perhaps a day or so at MGM Studios. We went back in 2002 so we pretty much know what we want to do.

Anyway, we've been looking on Expedia and Travelocity and all those sites for some deals and when we find a hotel and look up reviews there's always some reviews that say the hotel isn't good for whatever reasons. I myself think of the hotel as just a bed to sleep in at the end of the day but my mom wants to stay in a fairly nice hotel. We're looking for a hotel that has complementary shuttle service to both Universal and Disney parks and free breakfast in the mornings.

As I said before, my mom's concerned about the select bad reviews on a few of the hotels but if anyone knows of a hotel with shuttle service to both places and breakfast in the mornings, I'd appreciate any imput.

Here's a couple of the hotels we're looking at: Best Western Plaza International and Howard Johnson Inn International.

But what does the I-Ride bus take you to? We were planning on getting a couple of 5 day passes anyway so if they'll take us to one of the two parks then this would keep our options open.

I've been finding vacation packages on Expedia for around 750-800 dollars not including tickets to the theme parks, which we were planning on getting from AAA.

I think I covered the basics. I'm sorry if this isn't the correct board to put this in. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I will start looking - the problem most of the free shuttles either go to US/IOA and SW or WDW - not both.

I think the La Qunita did - I need to check the schedule again and get back to you tomorrow - it is at home.

Also check out www.hotelkingdom.com for some of the best prices around Orlando.

I have booked rooms from them several times with no problems. They are a reputable company.

Good luck!

We went to AAA today. We're looking at a Universal package that has 4 nights at the Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites, it comes with admission to US and IOA for the length of our stay, a CityWalk Party Pass which we don't expect to use, one day admission to Wet n Wild or a or dinner or lunch at Universal resturaunts, transportation to and from the airport, 2 "Plus Passes" and airfare for just over $1000.

Does anyone have any experiences with this hotel? Does this sound like a good price? Thank you!:D
