Planning trip for March, April or May 2011

I know Easter is the 24th of April next year which is pretty late, but what do you guys think will be a little slow. I was hoping to go in April or Early May but will May be busy because of how late Easter is. Maybe I will just go early March.

February and March are consistently busy because of the spring holidays of schools and universities as well as the urge to escape winter climates. It's been our experience that the week after Easter is still busy. But then it drops off quite a bit. May, until the Memorial Day weekend is very nice. I don't think a late Easter will affect May much at all.

We went May 6-15 last year and it was wonderful. Good weather, low crowds, and the flower festival was beautiful. We have been for both Food/Wine in October and Flower Fest. in May and really liked the May trip better.
