planning trip for June and wonder if Annual Passes are better

I am planning our trip for June. I already have reservations for June 22-July 1. These reservations include the DDP, and the tickets are just one day MMY. I have now thought about getting annual passes instead because I want to go back in the fall. Can anyone tell me the advantages or disadvantages of annual passes? Such as what is the dinning plan with AP or resort room cost per night with AP. The cost of the annual passes I would need came up to less than half of what I am paying for this whole trip. In the fall I would still have to pay for rooms and food. I am just wondering what the difference would be. Any help would be much appreciated!!!
