Planning trip for July 2017. What will be new to the parks?

Hi everyone!

I have been away from the boards for awhile. We are WDW vets. We had our first visit to DL/SoCal in July 2013 and LOVED it. We stay between 7-8 days. We live in Pennsylvania. We had the most fantastic trip in 2013. Enjoy everything about the DL parks and our OC Beach Bus tour. We have one teen son. So I have two questions. Besides the DL parks and the OC Beach Bus Tour. Which other Bus Tour should we try. Should we try Universal Hollywood? We will be staying at the Candy Cane Inn again.

To answer your question about the parks themselves, at this point, no ones for sure when the Rivers of America area will re-open, but there is a chance that the train (with it's new route) and the other Rivers of America attractions will re-open sometime during the summer of 2017. The new Frozen show at the Hyperion Theater is supposed to open this summer and I expect it to still be running next summer.

There is also the new Luigi ride opening soon. And the parade and fireworks will likely be new to you. I can't imagine they will go back to the old ones.
