Planning trip for February 2023

Our UY is Dec. we own at AKV and RIV. We plan on staying at RIV. Since our 11 month window opens in March do I need to bank my 2021 points first and then book our stay? In order to use my banked points, current year points and then borrow my 50% points.

Yes- you will need to bank your points first. If you need to borrow points, it will prompt you during the reservation. The order of points used will be banked, borrowed and current.

Since you have a December use year, the current use year for your February 2023 vacation is 2022. To pay for that trip, you can use 2021 points (if they are banked first), 2022 points and up to 50% of your 2023 points.

The answer to your question (as already posted) is yes. First bank the 2021 points, then make the reservation. You can bank the 2021 points at anytime before you make the actual reservation that will use them.
