I am sitting here planning out my vacation for Aug-Sept 2012's vacation with my two girls and I and I was planning on the doing the Dolphin experience at Epcot when i starting checking out Discovery Cove. My question is when i buy the Dolphin swim Day resort package I understand ( I hope) that I will also get a pass to Sea world. Do I have to use the pass to see world that day or can i go to Sea world the next day? We will be staying at Disney and was thinking about heading over there to do this. Also I am using the buss system and leaving from DTD.is that the easiest and cheapest way :confused3

I believe (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong) but you do get a free pass to Seaworld, and can use it an unlimited amount of times within 14 days of your discovery cove visit. So you have up to 2 weeks to visit Seaworld for free as many times as you want. Again, I'm not 100% sure thats how the pass works, you may want to call and double check or maybe someone else on this board can confirm that is indeed the case.

You do get access with the DC pass to Sea World and it's DEFINITELY for a different days as Discovery Cove will be an all day thing! The great thing about DC is that they limit the number of visitors each day - so it's calm, relaxing and never wall to wall people.

(I don't recall if the Sea World part of it is a full 14 day access or 5 day in a 14-day period).

I think additional days at Sea World aren't included only when you have an annual pass to Sea World and buy the DC pass at a reduced price special deal (then why would you need the extra days, you have the AP!)

When we went last year, it was your choice of 7 days at Sea World, Busch Gardens, or, possibly, Aquatica. I think you need to use it within 14 days of your Discovery Cove visit, but not sure of that. I know that you can use it before your visit (not that we did).

We were at Discovery Cove the Friday after Thanksgiving, so stayed there until absolute closing - one of the LAST people to leave. Then, headed over to Sea World until closing there. Then, to Sea World the next day and hit everything else. It was wonderful!

The best thing - the difference between Discovery Cove and any of the other theme parks. Discovery Cove is very peaceful, the only things you need to worry about are 1) meals - but they're a couple hours long and 2) the time for your dolphin experience. Otherwise, you can do whatever you want whenever. The music is more soft jazz, relaxing. Everywhere else, the music is faster-paced, so it actually makes you move quicker. (Especially noticeable, since every park was playing Christmas music)

Sorry - went in to more than what you asked.

If you are buying the dc tickets without the AP or other discount that may not include another park, you get to pick one of the other Busch parks for an unlimited entry for up to 14 days from first use. If you pay an additional $50, you can pick 2 other parks, Aquadica or Busch Gardens Tampa. We used our DC tickets at BGT (the park we picked as our other Busch park) before our day at DC, and they just scanned our DC tickets ( I had printed our tickets from the electronic tickets we were emailed after our online purchase). We went back to BGT after our DC visit, and we used our DC lanyards to get in.

We loved DC. The kids have still fantasized this will be an annual visit. I really enjoyed the relaxing day, the free alcoholic slushies from the one snack shack, and the slow pace of everything. We did not have to wait for food for very long, and there was plenty of seating. Everyone was kind, and the DC staff were very attentive to my inquisitive DD. She wants to be a marine biologist now.

We also went to Sea World, and the kids liked that too. It is also not as frantic as other parks we had been too. The crowds can be large though. We went the Sat. of Labor Day week-end, and the were long waits for food, and having to get into the Stadium at least 1 hour before start to get a decent choice of seat. We loved seeing the fireworks too. Shumu Rocks was fun, and we really laughed at the Seamore shows, the regular and the spoofing one. Pet show was fun too. We saw Allure and liked it, but I think the ice show is now there.

Have fun, DC and SW are great parks.

I think ,if you buy the Dolphin Swim Day Resort Package with the Ultimate Package you have all 3 ( and not 2) other parks, Aquadica, Busch Gardens Tampa and Seaworld.

no ?

The ultimate pass is two weeks of unlimited access at the three area SeaWorld Parks, SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens. And they can be used prior to your visit to Discovery Cove. You just have to have your confirmation print-out with you. And then it's good two weeks from that date.

Now they do have other packages that have five days or no days. It's all dependent upon what you'd like to purchase.

And the music was changed to Jimmy Buffett, reggae and the like.
