Hi All!! :mickeyjum We (My very favorite co-worker and Disney Pal, Meha:love:, and I, Pippi ) are just beginning to plan our trip to WDW. We are going in May of 2008. You may ask "why wait so long?" Here's my reply: Somebody (I'm not saying any names :rolleyes1 ) is going with their husband in 22 days, so we have to wait a while. So the countdown begins :hourglass !!

Ok!! We know we are a bit premature, but we are so totally psyched about going to Disney World!! :woohoo: I am Pippi, a 31 year old Disney fan and my partner in crime is Meha, a 33 year old Disny fan!!

So here we are, sitting at work :laundy: and surfing the discussion boards all day and getting more and more excited!! Only 281 days to go!!

We are RN's that recently left the clinical setting to do research. Now we have desk jobs and :scared: . . . cubicles. The desks (and paper-pushing) are slowly driving us insane. :badpc: This is one of the reasons we need this vacation.

We met here at the desk job and found we had a great deal in common. Especially Disney World. We finish each others sentences and know exactly where everything is in all four of the Disney World Parks.

First I'll tell you about me, Pippi. I am a 31 year old certified Disney fan and only child!! This will be my 10th trip to WDW. I have made one excursion to the west coast to that other Disney park and I was not impressed. In fact, the tiny castle made me cry  (I was 27). But, then I remember that this was where it all started and you have to crawl before you can walk!!

My first trip was when I was 3 and my last trip was this past November!! I'm really excited about this trip because I am going with someone who appreciates the magic pixiedust: of Disney as much as I do!! Not to mention, I have never stayed on Disney property :sad2:. We are going to party downparty: !! Actually, we will probably fall in to bed every night after spending every waking moment at one of the parks:crazy: .

On to Meha . . .

Hi all, so I am the one that is dragging my DH to "The World" in 21 days. But I am very excited to get a "girls getaway" with my Disney crazed co-worker in May. As she stated...WE ARE GOING ABSOLUTLEY BATTY AT OUR DESK JOBS!:scared:

The May trip will be my 6th trip to Disney. :goodvibes

So let the planning begin...Do we invite other not so Disney obsessed friends? Where do we stay? For how long? Dining plan or not? Let me just add as a sidebar...I am not happy about that 2008 Dining plan....But I digress. :offtopic:

So if anyone has any insight to share we are open to it. And just for the record...I don't know about Pip, but I will be partying like a rock star! :rockband:

1986 - Off Site
1996 - Off Site
2000 - Off Site
2005 - ASMu
2007- CBR
2008 - ?

Nobody loves us:confused: !! Not one person has responded to our pre-trip report!! I know we are just 2 nurses trying to party like rockstars :rockband: , but we do love Disney and we need some help planning what to do and where to stay.

Help us please?

:rolleyes1 You never know who may be at your bedside the next time you are in the hospital and don't you want them to have had a fun vacation!! :confused3

LOL! You girls are funny! I hope you plan on doing an all out pre trip and trip report! I have enjoyed working on mine.

OK, now back to your question---I have stayed @ AKL and CSR, with that said I chose CSR because it is a quiet resort---great for some drinks and relaxing...I saw way less children and there were MANY days we had the buses to ourselves on the way to and from the parks since more conventioners then vacationers seem to stay @ CSR. It is also a gorgeous place to be, has a nice LARGE hot tub, a fitness center and spa, the Pepper Market (which if on the DDP is a must for Counter Service IMO)...what else can I say??? LOVE CSR and did it on my adult only trip last September...(check out my TR link in my siggy)

Wherever you stay I think you guys will have a BLAST! I want to go with my best friend! WAHHHHH maybe someday....

Why are we so unpopular!! What have we done to keep people from reading our thread?? Do we suck that badly?:scared:
