Can I first apologize as I don't tend to post unless I am planning a trip:blush:
but I would be very very grateful for this fabulous boards advise.
Went to DLP in November - Youngest DS and I had a great time but the same cannot be said for the rest of the family. Pregnant SIL couldn't deal with the walking or the crowds,DH,oldest DS and BIL didn't like the queuing  and we all got ill either whilst there or by the day after we got home! The Xmas decorations were magical though.
Anyway, the last trip has not put me off but the family have decided that they don't want to go again so I am planning a visit with three equally Disney mad friends.
We all work in a school so we are limited as to when we can go.I am provisionally looking at the following options, which is where I need some help please:flower3:
1. Saturday 2nd-Monday 4th May.
A bank holiday for us and I know it's a BH in France on Friday 1st. Do the french people take Monday off as well?
2. Mid-week end of May.
Half-term.I know it will be quite busy with UK visitors and not sure about park closing early.REALLY want to ride BTM in the dark-love it!!!
3. End of August. Possibly Sunday 30th-Tuesday 2nd as we would catch the last day of the extended summer hours and fireworks etc. But never been at this time so how crowded do you think?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Its difficult as the 3 times you have chosen I reckon are going to be busy.

I would reckon your best time would be the end of August as the park should be open longer.

I would avoid the May weekend as weekend are very busy, even more if they have a Bank holiday on the Friday.

I agree i think the August one is your best option.

If the French bank holiday is on the friday they wont all have the monday as well but a lot of people may be there over the weekend as its a long weekend

If it was me I would go at the end of August to be honest. Warmer weather, longer hours and the hope that most will have gone back home already for the new school year!

Hello from another member of the 'I work in a school so don't get much choice of holiday' brigade. :rotfl:

End of summer would be my choice too - busy yes, but the late nights allow you to get just as much done.

I'd go for the end of August too. We usually go then and the longer hours, Fantillusion and fireworks outweighs any crowds. :thumbsup2
