I'm trying to pick dates for our summer 2015 trip, and I have two questions. When in June of this year did the extended summer hours start? That will give me an idea of when they may start next summer. And does anyone know about when they post the dates for the Grad Nights for 2015?

Thanks! I know it's early, but I love planning my Disneyland trips. :)

I'm curious about June too. We are looking at June 5 - 9 for a quick trip from the East coast.

It's never too early to start planning a trip! We just got back from our WDW trip and I'm already starting to plan California for July 2015. It will be our first time there, actually our first time going further west than Cleveland, Ohio! We are from NYC and have been to WDW several times and we are looking forward to seeing Southern California and including a few days at disneyland in our trip. It will also be the first time since April 2000 that I'm getting on a plane. We always drive to WDW, do some other road trip or take a cruise our or NY for our vacations.

I already downloaded the Touring Plans app and I see the lines at DL and DCA seem a lot quicker than the ones at WDW. Maybe it's because it's August already, but I hope it's the same for July next year! I'm also excited to see what will be going on for the 60th anniversary next summer. :)

Your first trip to Disneyland and it's the 60th anniversary? How exciting!

The hours were extended for the first week of June. They may have been extended before that but I definitely know the first week of June DL was open til Midnight.

I'm waiting to see the grad night schedule also. Though I will say we had 2 grad nights this summer and no issues really. On grad nights we spent the day in DCA and hopped over to DL in the evenings.

I believe grad nights start to be announced in Sept-Oct but they often add more dates as the time approaches. So be careful about that if you care about grad nights.

Yes, I remember them adding dates before. We've had Grad nights and they weren't bad, but I would just sooner avoid them if possible. Well, I think the end of June after the block outs start is sounding like a plan!
