If you really are Josh from EasyWDW, could you please answer why you posted this statement:

"Over 10 million visitors and 30 million pageviews this year. I guess that's pretty good. There's about seven months before easywdw either becomes financially viable or disappears. I'm not throwing another $3,000 away on hosting."

I know that I'm probably just another bored housewife on your forum, who bought your book (and I may now consider retracting the positive review I left for you on Amazon) So tell me, and the rest of us, why would you write that in your forums if you were not at least thinking about it?

It makes me feel so sad, and I used to be one of your loyal followers

One difference, TGM you paid a fee, Josh, it's free. So, I think that is why Josh can "lol" all he wants and why he can share his thoughts with his "friends" on his site about possibly shutting down, he doesn't really owe anyone anything...free...
He is snarky, BUT also funny at times and he provides a lot of AWESOME info for nothing but his own time.
Personally, I think he needs to charge for is site, I'd pay for his info...

The running back pictured does not answer questions from media or answer to anyone for that matter. But he's the best in the business.

Agree with this. Id love to pay someone to tell me which parks to go to which day and lay everything out for me. I know ta's can do this but not to the knowledge or thought that josh puts into it!

Look, you've made it abundantly clear that you require everything to be clearly spelled out in simple words, but Josh doesn't need to explain himself to you or anyone else. You are trying to read too much into it, obviously without the understanding you might have gleaned from more reading on his site. It is also abundantly clear that you are unable to understand Josh's sense of humor. And that's fine. He has many, many friends on his site and here who do.

I'll happily stick with easywdw.com as long as Josh cares to put it out there. Maybe it's because I can see the difference between immaturity and irreverence. You are of course free to use whatever sites you wish. Perhaps you can find one that is just the facts and nothing more.

Not sure where this came from- I don't see any TGM supporters in this thread. I did say I was a member at one time. There are however a lot of easyWDW supporters in this thread- do you call them ‘insane” too? Or “insane bored housewives"?

What is amusing to me is the similarities between your words/behavior and the lies told on TGM near the end of that website. Are you also working on easywdw 2.0?

It is obvious a number of your members are bewildered by your statements, as well.

I think I’ll put easywdw on Death Watch and do my planning elsewhere.
Besides, “the proprietor" sounds and acts like a petulant attention-seeking 12 year old jerk.
Not seeing the appeal- seems like he enjoys turning off potential new members. Probably why the site is free. Who would pay for that attitude?

People who want thorough, logical information regarding which parks to go to each day and WHY.

The book he wrote with Dave from **************.net (The easy Guide to Your First Walt Disney World Visit) is excellent and I highly recommend purchasing it.

i have to say that I love your site josh I used to be a member of TGM way back in the day but got out well before it went down I found your site and thought the almost daily updates and pictures very informative and I certainly appreciate your calendar days. I hope that you don't ever shut down because I recommend your site to everybody it makes me feel like I have a little taste of "home" between trips

I have not always agreed with Josh but I sure have appreciated the work he's put into his site and blog.

EasyWDW is one of the best planning sites around. The crowd calendar with the narrative explaining which park is best is awesome. I click on it pretty much every day whether I'm planning a trip currently or not just to see what's happening. He is often the first to post updated park hour changes or new releases of fastpasses for Anna & Elsa or SDMT.

If it does go away that is sad, but I will visit that site every day until it goes away!

Agreed, Shannon is very Disney positive, but still honest without being mean.

I think it's pretty simple, if someone doesn't like sarcasm or irreverence they probably won't "get" Josh's site. Is passporter still out there? That used to be a good, no frills, straight on Disney planning site that may be a better fit for those who don't want any fooling around.

Above all, Josh's site is free. There is no loss to just walk away if it's not for you. It also means there is no right to request changes in how the site is run either.
