Planning September evenings in MK

As of right now, the 2 evenings we have planned for MK for this Sept (week of Sept 11) have Wishes scheduled for 9 and one MSEP at 10.

Is it likely they will add an earlier MSEP, or is this the typical schedule for this time of year?
(I'm hoping the schedule will stay like this)

AND.....if this schedule remains, how soon before Celebrate the Magic should we find a spot?

It's been a while since we've been there in sept, we've been travelling there in May the last few times. Hoping this could mean we don't have to get to the castle until between 8 and 8:30-ish.

It is a beautiful projection show of lights on the castle that starts about 15 min before Wishes. Not to be missed!

Check out Robo's posts here- he has amazing maps and info- or you can look on the wdw website.

I am fairly certain you need to be in front of the castle for this.

September is indeed one of the few lower crowd times left to visit the parks. Are you visiting after the Halloween parties start? If you are, you need to be aware of what that does to crowds in the MK. It makes any day without a party really busy, much busier than that time of year really is.

Great point. Yes we are going during Mnsshp time. Unfortunately 2 of our MK days are non-party days, but I think just for morning touring. I think we will also do some MK on a party day as well. We will hAve park hoppers and I'll remember that if its crazy at MK, it might not be overall this is the way it is crowds, but because of a non party day. Thanks for bringing that up!

Last year, some days had 2 parades, but most had 1 (excluding party nights) but when it was 1, it was before Wishes... now it's all scheduled for after Wishes...

Very doubtful they'll add another another MSEP. One is basically it during Sept. and that's not every night. Depends on how good of a place you want to see Celebrate Magic/Wishes...if curbside with an average size party I'd say a good hour, otherwise a half hour should work and still be decentish.
