we are going on the Disney dream in a bit less than a month and I just realized that there is a 2pm showing of beauty and the beast.

I'm wondering if it might be a good idea to see the matinee show and then maybe ride on the aquaduck after dinner. I've read during dinner and shows there isn't much of a line and it looks very cool to do at night. we have early seating.

do you still have to show up a half hour before the show for a decent seat at the matinee? is or less crowded than the night time show?

Sounds like a good plan for the show and aqueduck. We've never had a problem getting a "decent" seat at a matinee but your criteria might be different than ours.

I have a 50 minute massage booked for 11:45-12:35, I don't mind grabbing something quick for lunch but just did not want to feel too rushed.

I don't think the 2pm matinee was on the previous navigators i was looking at but showed up on the most recent January one. Hopefully it's the same on a month because I like the idea of the matinee show now!

Sounds perfect. We've always found the spa services to run pretty much on time. Perhaps 10-15 minutes late? Allowing time to shower/dress afterwards should put you at either the buffet or one of the pool deck food spots (basically right outside the spa) in time to get something to eat before heading to the theater.

I probably will not shower until right before dinner. I was planning to hang in the rainforest after but now I'll do that before, or maybe after the show and before dinner. I have to look at the deck plans now, I have only ever been on the magic and wonder. castaway club gold with my last cruise in 2005. first time with my 9 year old son. single mom so trying to carve out a little "me" time while also have a family vacation. My parents will be there too (they live in a different state) so I have backup if he doesn't like the kid clubs!

The great thing about B&B showing twice on each cruise is that the showings aren't crazy crowded. We attended the 2nd day evening showing of B&B, showed up 15 minutes prior to showtime, and had pretty much our pick of seats, as did the people who showed up 15 minutes after us, lol.
