We're doing a few days in the parks to wraparound a cruise and I can't figure out what to do when and that FP+ day is creeping up, help!
We will be staying at Bonnet Creek from 9/30 (fly in late) till 10/3, cruising from 10/3-10/7 and then one night at BCV before flying home late on 10/8.
Definite plans are cruise from 10/3-10/7 and MNSSHP on 10/2
We plan to spend 10/1 & 10/7 in the parks - want to visit AK, HS and Epcot, we'll have park hoppers. We'd like to hit up food and wine ideally both days, ride FEA, see the new Soarin, see the Star Wars fireworks and Rivers of Light, but I have no idea if either of these last two things are even going to be open/happening yet!
Logistically it makes sense for us to do Hollywood Studios on the evening of the 7th since we'll be staying at the Beach Club but that goes against the crowd calendars as does going to AK the evening of the 1st.
Mostly I can't figure out which park is the best use of my FPs. I'll be able to make FP+ reservations for 10/7 this week, but won't be able to make them for 10/1 until 30 days out. What's the best place to use them? I'm thinking Epcot for 10/7 since that gives us the best shot at getting FEA FPs. At HS we'd like to see the fireworks, ride TSMM and TOT, maybe Star Tours. Are the TSMM waits down enough with the 3rd track that we can count on being able to do this standby? Since we are coming from the cruise we won't get to the parks till 10-11 am.
For 10/1 where do I use my FPs? In Epcot during the day or AK in the evening? Assuming ROL is open will it have FP+? Is standby an option for the AK evening show? In AK we'd like to do safari, everest, maybe Nemo if time and ROL. If we used the FPs in Epcot we could use them for Soarin, which park are the FPs worth more as far as saving wait times?
