Is it a good idea to buy a 5 subject notebook to keep tips and booking info in? This is what I would do with the sections:

1. Magic Kingdom Tips, Hours, Hidden Mickeys, and More

2. Epcot Tips, Hours, Hidden Mickeys, and More

3. Animal Kingdom Tips, Hours, Hidden Mickeys and More

4. Blizzard Beach Tips, Hours, and More

5. General Information, Hotel Information, Flight Information, Packing Lists

Good? Need to be enlightened here ;)

No Typhoon Lagoon or Downtown Disney? If you're not planning on going to either, or you don't need the info for them, I can see omitting it, but I would heartily recommend both.

How in depth is the planning information you are putting in? If it's just hours and stuff, you might be able to get away with a small pocket notebook. (More portable).

well, we are doing downtown disney (we booked cirque de soleil) but i dont think they make 6 subject notebooks! (lol)
im going to put in hours, tips (from birnbaum and this site) hidden mickeys (that book, i forgot what its called) and for general info i will put priority seatings, flight info, packing lists, hotel info, hotel pics, hotel hidden mickeys, and stuff like that. also in the theme park section, i will put lists of restaurants and description and stuff. i wont be taking this to the parks, though. it will be in my hotel room for quick reference. pockets in the notebook will be used for maps, and such

thanks!

I actually have a three ring binder that I use. This way I can move things around and update/add as needed. I use dividers and have a section for each park, a resort section, menus, and a section wher I keep notes.

A friend of mine put all the park info on large index card and punched holes in the corners. She then attached them with a binder ring so she could take off a card as she used it. She had seperate cards for PS info and hotel info. If they wanted to change plans mid day all she had to do was flip a page and off they went.

It's ringbound, has tons of great info, and pockets to keep your stuff in, plus planning sheets and memory pages for you to fill in along the way.

You can order from them directly:
http://www.passporter.com

Or purchase them from any major bookstore.

I am using a 3-ring binder so I can move and update things, but I'm wondering how I'll adapt it for the parks. I like the index card idea for that (thanks, tyna). Maybe I'll transfer some to card or "cut and paste" onto cards for the ol' belly bag.
My binder also has folders for brochures, etc.
My sections: 1) Prices/costs/budget (I put comparison pricing in here before making a decision on spending)
2) Trip preparations/packing (packing list, shopping lists, things to do before the trip)
3)Itinerary (touring tips, PS's, etc.) Each day or park has it's own page where I add things.
4) Tips/hints/other info (this would be misc.!)
