PLanning our first trip and....

probably only trip for June of 2015!

I am very excited to even begin thinking about this.

I am taking my girl scouts on a trip to Dublin, London and Paris in June of 2015. Initially the troop had voted to add a day at the end of the trip for Disneyland Paris. At our end of the year meeting they decided to drop that part.

So just my dd and I will be staying on for a few days.

We are from California and go to Disneyland frequently. We have been to WDW. It has been our dream to go to DLRP.

I am thinking we will probably stay for four nights/five days.

I will be looking over this board frquently for the nex two years.

I am so excited for the trip on so many levels.

For my girls scouts.. they have been working really hard to earn the money. It was a budget issue that had them make the decision to drop the DLP day.

However for most of my girls this will be a trip of a lifetime for them. Most of them have never even left the state of California.

We are taking the trip right before they enter high school. I really want them to see some of the world and broaden their view. Plus how cool is it to be able to say you have visted some of the places you will be studying in world history.

For my dd and I ... the added days at DLP are really a dream come true. At first I felt guilty but I have some great chaperones that will accompany the girls home.

Since we will be so close and we both have worked really hard to make sure the troop has enough money to pay for all the girls to go I think it will be a nice reward for us.
