Planning our DL trip need packing for plane help

We are planning on packing only 1 carry on bag each we will be staying at DL for 4 days. In june is the weather cold enough for pants and sweater at night?
ALSO can I bring any empty gallon bags in my carry on to put jewelery, wet swimsuits, wet socks from a ride. ect?

AND how do you all protect your belongings (like dirty cloathing ect) from Bed Bugs? PRAYING our hotel is free of them and I DID read every review ect and no reports of them but you never know?? ex large bags ???

You could get away with jeans and a t-shirt for daytime, and layer with a sweater or sweatshirt at night. Days tend to be mild and evenings cool.

Homeland Security and TSA don't care about plastic bags. Feel free to bring them along. A hint: please make sure that your bags are the correct size for carry-on, and that includes having a standard carry-on size and not stuffing the exterior pockets out to the point where your bags will no longer fit overhead. Just trying to save you from boarding headaches.

You talk like bed bugs are common in hotels. They aren't at all. If you do experience bed bugs (and again I highly doubt it), then all you need to do is keep the bags outside (or in the garage) and immediately wash everything in hot water/use the dryer. Don't bring the bags into the house. Clean the bags out when you're done.

For me it's always the shoes that take up the most space.

Roll your clothes tightly and put them in your bag. We find this works really, really well. I also use this technique to put my smaller kids "outfits" together. Usually shirt, underwear and socks. That way they can just choose a shirt to wear and everything is already together. My sister uses the same technique but for her girls she also adds hair things/bows/headbands to go with the outfit. She never has to worry about where she put something - it's always right there.

My oldest son likes the space saver bags that you can roll up/roll the air out of and then zip close. He had those when he traveled in Taiwan a couple of years ago. We still have some floating around our house and I might use them next time.

On our last trip to DL, I used those "Space saver" bags for our clothes, since we only take roller carry-ons (and a backpack folded in one in case we buy a lot of souvenirs. Then we can check a roll-on bag for the return trip if needed). Those saver bags were fantastic, and allowed me to also pack granola bars, packaged cinnamon rolls, fruit snacks, etc. for breakfast and snacks at the park.

I also always take those large gallon bags rolled up, as well as extra quart bags. I've never had any problem taking those with us.
