Well I thought this would be the best place to get tips and advice on planning the best and most memorable anniversary at WDW.
We were married at the Polynesian Resort on February 15, 1990. Yes, almost 20 years ago. This is before DFTW. We didn't have much money then so my mom got us a room right on the beach and we had the ceremony there with just family members. Now I want to do something special for this anniversary.
DH said no to vow renewal. Too much money and it doesn't include the hotel.
I have reserved 4 nights at the new Bay Lake Tower. At that time of year it is peak prices so 4 nights is still over $3000. A week is over $5000.
But I want to do something!
I didn't have a wedding dress or reception or a beautiful cake like you lovely Disney brides.
We were married in our hotel room by a Notary Public, sister-in-law, spent 2 nights there and had to go back home. I just thought 20 years ought to be special. Am I wrong?
Anyways, just wanted to get some ideas from those that have had wonderful Disney weddings and honeymoons. Thanks
