What is the best time to go, I have a PS for 2:50, how long can you stay?

I think the PS's are all made over the course of about 1/2 hour, so your time is fine. We usually spend about an hour and the characters often have come by several times. We've never felt rushed to finish up. We also order ice water for everyone to drink with our ice cream, and the kids drink comes in a great plastic souvenir cup.
