Ok...I'm a definitely a type A planner....have our WDW trip planned down to the general itinerary for each day.

Kids saw the email I received today from AAA about discounted Seaworld tickets and now they want to go. So I need to know it all, lol.

Where can I get the best prices (AAA discount was $57 "adult at kid price"), but I know last year there was some code to use that appeared to be employers (southwest is the only one I remember but there were others), and the prices seemed a few dollars less than this, plus included a second day? I did notice seaworld.com had $59 tickets, but can't tell if that's a second day also??

What is Aquatica? Sounds like waterpark? Is there other things to do here, as we're going in November, so probably not weather wise.

Tell me the "must dos" for SeaWorld....my kids are preteens, not into roller coasters or thrill rides, but like other types of WDW rides.

We love shows and definitely want to do a whale and/or dolphin show....what other shows are there?

What else does a person need to know (I know loaded question, but give me your best tips).

Thanks!

Hey there! I can only give a few tips on seaworld, as I haven't been to Aquatica yet, but yes it is a water park.

For shows, besides the Believe show which includes Shamu, I would definately suggest 'Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island' (I think it is still called that) which is good for a few cheesy laughs and get there early because there is a mime that interacts with the crowd and always provides good comedy. There is also a show at night time which is different and basically 'spoofs' all the shows you may have seen earlier on during the day.

Speaking of Shamu, get to the Believe show quite early. It fills up very fast and I think there is entertainment whilst you wait.

Journey to Atlantis claims to be the first 'water ride and roller coaster combo' but the 'roller coaster' section in my opinion, is way exagerated. The drop of the water section is about 60ft and I would say about the same intensity, maybe slightly more of Splash Mountain over at Magic Kingdom.

Mistify(again, hoping that it is still there) is Seaworld's nighttime show and it attracts many visitors so you need to get a good spot over the lagoon in 'waterfront village'. But for me, IllumiNations is much better.

There's lots to do at Seaworld and all the shows are helpfully listed on the back of the map, which you pick up on the way into the park.

Hope you have fun :)
