Planning Nov 2011, Jersy week?

Could anyone tell me when they would think Jersey week would be 2011?

The NJ teacher convention dates are as follows:

* November 4-5, 2010
* November 10-11, 2011
* November 8-9, 2012

These are always a Thursday & Friday (long weekend). It does make it easier to take the kids out of school -- for those who choose to do so, but are trying to minimize the # of days missed...No need to debate whether or not they should here...

Sometimes *some* NJ schools close other days in the same week (for other holidays - Election Day or Veterans' Day) But, MOST NJ schools close for at least the Thursday & Friday.

We've been during Jersey Week and find the crowds no problem, with good planning.

Works out perfect for me because my family & friends are from NJ and that's when we plan on having our DFTW! My maid of honor already told me last year that she knows she'll be off from work then!

I'd say if you are worried about Jersey Week there is really no need to be. DH and I always go to WDW in Nov and we have been there everytime during at least some part of Jersey week. We have never had a problem with crowds, in fact we always comment on how uncrowded it seems. The weather is really good at that time of yr too, which is one of the main reasons we go in Nov.
