Planning Next Vacation?

We bought annual passes this year because we knew we were going to be at WDW in August (me, my DH, and DD9) and again in January as part of a group of 10 (my sister and her family, my parents, and my stepsister)...

So of course I'm trying to find a way to take at least one more trip to WDW during our passholder time frame (8/23/12-8/22/13)....

My husband and I are contemplating a long weekend trip for just the two of us... I just can't decide when to go... It seems silly to go in August, November (our anniversary), and January... but I do love the Christmas season in Disney World....

Any advice?

I think you should take the long weekend and spend your time differently then you do when you go with your daughter or extended family. I think if its just the two of you then maybe you'll have to more time to relax and enjoy it. Do you want to visit some different hotels? Try new restaurants? Schedule some time at the spa? Play some mini golf? There are so many other options at WDW that you miss when you're spending all your time at the parks.

I would say to go as many times as you can while you have the pass and do something different each time you go. I usually go 4-5 times in the years I get an AP for WDW. I'm getting an annual pass this year and have already planned my trips for Nov(food and wine), Dec(Xmas), and two weeks in the summer. I'm even trying to figure out if I can get tickets for Spring Training with the Atlanta Braves. I say go for it!

If you are a foodie or like events, October at Epcot with the Food and Wine festival is lovely. So is the Flower and Garden Festival. I personally love the parks in the spring right before school gets out. You can enjoy the warm weather, but miss both the spring break and summer crowds.
