Hello all,

I would just like to ask if a lot of planning is needed to explore Universal?
We are visiting Florida 10-24 May and staying onsite at Disney. Understandably a certain amount of planning (ie:which parks etc) is required to get the most out of WDW but i have neglected my research on Universal a little :(
We are hoping to purchase an Orlando Flex 4 park tkt which i understand gives us a whole unrestricted 14 days access. So are certain bits really busy at certain times or is it much easier to fit everything into a few half days or couple of full ones??
Sorry if this post seems to ramble......that'll be my brain :p

Thanks for any tips (including stuff i really shouldn't miss!) in advance :Pinkbounc

Do you have the Unofficial WDW guide? If so there is a section for Universal that would help. I'm no expert, but that's what we used before our first Universal trip, and lots of reading of this discussion board, of course. :) There are other Universal books if you want more depth.

I think you've already guessed the answer to your question. The FlexTicket is one of Orlando's greatest deals (I'm surprised that it doesn't get more notice) and one of its greatest benefits is that it means you don't have to approach a day at the parks like a precisely timed commando raid, the way you do at Disney.

If you add a day or two at an on site Universal hotel, it gets even easier, thanks to the express access your room key gives to virtually ALL the rides and attractions.

Enjoy!
