Planning my week...2 DVC events on same night?? Effect on parks?

I will be at WDW with 6 day PH April 15-21 (afternoon arrival on 15th, departing first thing on 21st). I noticed early MK closing on Tuesday the 17th early in in my planning.... had already planned to start in MK that day and became hopeful that early closing could mean lower day crowds. Later saw mention that early closure is for DVC party (?) .

More recently saw that there is a moonlight madness DVC event at AK on the 17th. Two DVC things in one night? Am I likely to see AK closing change on the 17th? Partially I am just curious....with all of the planning involved, I hate to feel i missed something. Partially want to know whether or not we may want to hop to AK that afternoon.

That's correct, but it's not a Moonlight Magic event, parks do not close early for DVC Moonlight Magic events.

That's correct, there will be a Moonlight Magic event at AK on April 17th. Park will close at the usual time. DVC members can enter early but the event begins after the park closes.
