I am first to admit that I get carried away with making plans way further in advance that most people. But how to you balance making reservations so far in advance with enjoying the moment and not having to watch the clock to make your reservation on time? We will be visiting in August on Thursday through Sunday. I don't want to have to schedule every day by our meal reservations. What are our chances of being seated in a timely manner if we walk into a restaurant without reservations? We don't plan on anything more upscale than Whispering Canyons or Trail's End. What times are best to walk in without reservations for dinner in August? Any info and opinions are appreciated.
