Hi everyone!! I'm looking for some help in planning a quick little side trip to Sea World during my 8 nights at Disney World! We spent a full day there last January, and hadn't originally planned on going back. However, I LOVE Sea World and when I heard about the Christmas things they do (we are going Dec 10-18), I knew I HAD to check it out!! :santa:

SO, I have a few questions!

- We are going to spend the morning shopping at Downtown Disney, and then eat lunch before grabbing a cab to Sea World. If we don't get there until 2 or 3 (on a day when it is open until 11), will it be impossible to ride the coasters without waiting forever? This will be Sunday Dec 12. Riding these is not a must, but I'm just wondering what to expect.

- If they are open until 11, then I can assume they are having the special Christmas shows right? Do I need to see Believe AND Shamu's Christmas Miracles or do you think just the Christmas show will be good?

Thanks everyone!! :thumbsup2

Yes, with an 11:00pm closing, you will get to see all the Christmas themed night shows. There may or may not be long lines for the coasters. Its hard to say for mid December. It could go either way, if there is you may be interested in buying a quick queue pass. This is like a Disney fast pass, except its unlimited front of the line access to rides. You don't have to wait until a certain time period or only use it once like at Disney. But unlike Disney's free fast pass, quick queue costs some money. But I think its worth it if your family loves coasters. Here is some info on quick queue from the Seaworld site....

As far as seeing both Believe and the Christmas show, its up to you. If your going later in the day, the last Believe show will probably be around 5:30. And you will want to ride the rides and see the other shows that don't have Christmas themed night shows. Like the Dolphin show Blue Horizons, or Pets Ahoy. If you were going to be there all day, I would say see both, but since your doing a shorter day, I would just go for the Shamu Christmas Miracles night show. That way you have the chance to enjoy the park more.

Thanks for the information!! We did a full day at Sea World when we were there in January 2009, so we aren't concerned about missing a few things this time. I was just pleasantly surprised to be able to squeeze in some Sea World time thanks to their 11PM closing!!!

I didn't know about the Quick Queue option, that might be a great choice for us! It is just me and my boyfriend, so it wouldn't be too expensive and would help us make sure we get the most out of our late arrival.

Thanks again!!!!!!!
