my family ( 5 and 9 year old) is planning a trip in late october but is having trouble picking between two options.

option A- fly to los angeles and spend 2 days at disneyland, then drive to san diego and go on a 4 day disney cruise.

option B- fly to orlando and spend 7 days at disney world with 4 park days and 3 pool - exploring days.

we've never been to disneyland so any help or insight would be appreciated
thanks

Neither would be the wrong choice, but I think option A sounds like a lot of fun! Going to Disneyland for the first time then followed by a Disney Cruise would be such a memorable vacation!

I would go with option A as well! Two days would be great to see most of Disneyland/California Adventure and then time to relax on the cruise afterwards!

I love DL so much more than WDW - that DL gets my vote every time.

I suggest doing Option A- Disneyland and a cruise from San Diego. We go to Disneyland often and have cruised on DCL from San Diego twice. The cruise is so relaxing and 2 days at Disneyland is plenty as it’s easy to move from one park to the other in the same day. Will you be renting a car to get you down to San Diego? There’s two hotels right across the street from the port where you can park your rental car while on the cruise.

As someone with really bad motion sickness I LOVE DL best cause I can walk between the parks! I can walk from my resort to the park! NO BUSSES! lmfao I still have to take meds to go on rides but it's nice to not have to take one the second I wake up!
