Planning Hawaii...Stop at Disneyland???

We thought about this as well as we have to be on the west coast for a wedding next spring. However, for the extra $1400 in airfare + the cost of food while in Hawaii we couldn't do it. So we'll just be going to DL instead.

Making the stop on the way back instead is a good idea. I do remember having a difficult time adjusting to central time zone when we came back from Hawaii 6 yrs ago. I want to make it as smooth as possible for the kids. Stopping in San Diego on the way home would only be a 3 hour adjustment instead of a 5 hr adjustment going straight home.

We are going to DL this year & from my research i have learned that you need a car seat even in a shuttle van or taxi. B/c we don't want to drag along our car seat for our 2.5 yr old, we will need to take the Disneyland Express bus. We are flying into John Wayne as well.

That actually states that you should bring one. According to CA law, young kids do need them in vans.
