Planning FP for a large group, Summer Trip

We are traveling as a group of 14 (!!!) this summer and, while I'm sure there will be some amount of spreading out to experience different attractions, head back to the resort for a swim and a nap, we would like to stick together as much as possible.

When attempting to book FP, I'd love suggestions or anecdotes for what worked/didn't work when requesting FP through MDE. Should I try to get all 14 FP for Frozen at the same time, for example, or is it advantageous to break up the FP into smaller groups, and get as close to an overlapping window as possible?

Are you staying onsite? If so, you should be fine at 60 days, especially if you're flexible with times. I just made fastpasses for 16 people and was able to get everything we wanted, including FOP, all at the same time. It was surprisingly very easy. I booked for everyone via my MDE account.

That's GREAT to hear! Yes, we are staying onsite, so will have the 60-day window (coming up soon!) -- super happy to hear you had such good luck. Fingers crossed we have the same!

It's no different really. We go in large parties. I'd say something to consider is to talk to the people going and understand if they are early risers or not. It may sound crazy to a go-getter but lots of people are just not into getting up early! Planning for touring types that are outside your typical style can be challenging. The actual booking of the FastPasses is easy.

We just booked for a group of 12 from 6/30 to 7/7. We got every ride for all of us as a group starting with our 60 day mark. We had a group of 9 a few years ago too. We found it easier to book every one at the same time so when we made changes we could get rides around the same time

Thanks for this feedback! We have definitely done the recon on people's preferences for touring the parks -- agreed, this is the ultimate Step 1 in planning

I've had no problem booking FP+ for our group of 12 at 60 days out in the summer. Was able to book Mine Train the first summer it was open and last year had no trouble getting FOP for 12 at 60 days. Everyone was linked as my family and friends on MDE and made all the FP. I had a harder time making ADR for 12.
