Trip Plan-What do you think?

Hey guys - I have been elected to be in charge of everything for my upcoming trip. It will be myself and my boyfriend (both 21yrs) and a good friend of ours (28yrs). I'd like your advice on what i have so far.....

We have Pop Century book May 30th-June 5th. We are flying in and have Tiffany Towncar take us to the hotel. We plan to use the grocery stop and grab some snack and liquor to bring to the room.

Day 1: Arrive and unpack. Hang out at the hotel pool and investigate. If time -- minigolf. Dinner at Trails End Buffeteria and then over to Pleasure Island.
Day 2: Sleep in and head over to Blizzard Beach around 10-11am. Around 3 or 4 leave and shower, then go to Downtown Disney and Disney Quest. Grab some dinner at McDonalds.
Day 3: Segway class in Epcot at 9am. Hang out in Epcot and ice cream social at 3pm. Dinner at Pop.
Day 4: Animal Kingdom early. Grab something to eat while transfering to MGM around lunch time. Dinner at Sci fi 6pm.
Day 5: Magic Kingdom early entry. Dinner at 6pm Liberty Tree.
Day 6: Park hop where-ever we want!! Dinner ??
Day 7: Check out of hotel at 11am and leave bags at desk till Tiffany arrives. Visit hotels and shop at Downtown Disney. (flight leaves orlando at 2:30pm)

Looks like a great plan. I would just say get to Blizzard Beach, early, really early. That will be a busy time. By 11 you might have a hard time getting a good chair/space and if you are planning on doing slides etc. the lines will probably be long already.

Day 1 - You may want to hang out around the MK resorts (since you'll already be over there), ride the boats and monorail and watch the EWP (9 PM) and Wishes (10 PM) from the Polynesian. Since you aren't getting up early the next day you'll still have time to hit PI after that.

Day 2 - Since you're already at BB you could hit the Winter Summerland minigolf when you're done.

Day 6 - Two ideas for dinner, either FDP at H&V if you miss Fantasmic on Day 4 or CG @ 8 PM (you'll be able to see Wishes).

Day 7 - If you do the express check out you can drop off your luggage as soon as you get up. I'd schedule a breakfast (a character breakfast would be great!) for around 9 AM so that you don't sleep in and waste the day. You can sleep when you get home!

What kind of tickets do you have? It makes all the difference. Also I'd stay away from the sci-fi drive in for dinner. It just isn't as good as some of the other restaurants in MGM. I personally don't like it. You also might want to rethink what days you go where. There are all kinds of sites and guide books that can give you insite - they list busy days and busy times. You may also want to look into priotiry seating if you know where you're going to be when. Plus think about putting down days in between park days.

And you need to go to the waterpark early or late. You plan on arriving at the same time as everyone else usually does according to the book and sites I've read. Also check on the buses. There are direct busses in the morning but you have to go through the TTC in the middle of the day.

Oh and if you don't do priority seating your 6:00 dinner could turn into a 7:30 dinner, and they don't give you a second chance. If you aren't there when they call your name you're off the list. Call 407-wdw-dine. They take seating requests up to 90 days out. I tried to get in at a character lunch only to find all the times I wanted were already gone - 89 days out.

We did make priority seating for all of the dinners/lunchs I mentioned. We wanted to do one major meal at each park and we really liked the photos of Sci Fi we have seen. I'm excited about trying it - I realize food quality might not be top notch but we are going for the atmosphere really. ::yes::

As for tickets I have 12 comp passes saved from work (I'm a Disney Store CM). They are 1 day park hopper passes. :earsgirl:

I planned the days for the parks based on the 'Gay Days' schedule posted on their website. I wanted to make sure we are not in a designated park on a listed day to stay away from crowds. Also I really like the order picked because my boyfriend has never been to Disney at I think Magic Kingdom should be last (it is also the early entry day for MK). :hyper:

I think waking up early for Blizzard Beach is a great tip - thanks for the info. We can always take a nap while we are laying out getting sun too, right? ;)

(Also I'm such a dork - actually we all are -- on Friday (the day we are park hopping) we also are planning on going to downtown disney that evening and seeing Harry Potter 3 at the AMC theatre since it will be opening day! I am going to call and order tickets in advance!)

Anything else guys??
