LOL

I keep thinking of things to buy here, before our trip in 20 days, to save money at Disney. For example:

*Walmart kids' Mickey/Minnie t-shirts ($7/each) - better deal here, stock up
*Walmart pajama sets ($7.50-$10/ea) - better deal here, stock up
*Disneystore.com clearance sale - t-shirts $9/ea, house sitter needs a few things, I need a shirt, LOL
*Disneystore.com having sale on $7.99 disney towel - we'll need those, stock up
*Etsy.com hairbows for my girls. $2-$5 for a nice mickey or minnie hair bow - cheaper here, buy them now

Things like that. I keep finding things to buy NOW rather than wait and buy at the park. I'm going broke trying to prepare for the trip, LOL.

Must. stop. now. :wizard::banana::hippie:

I know how you feel, but just to point out the obvious: you don't have to have a Disney beach towel at Disney, they allow regular ones :rotfl2: (Heck, I don't even pack beach towels and just use the room towels at the pool!) And I don't think Mickey will be upset if you wear your same old non-Disney pajamas at his hotels...

I say take a step back, and think "do I really need these, or do I already have stuff that will do the job?""

Disneyshopping.com is going to have a huge sale starting Thursday, if you must have those beach towels, they may be less than that then.

It's no fun to buy all that stuff before you go. Watch the quality of the t-shirts from Disneyshopping.com, it isn't always as good as what you get at the theme parks.

I agree with MomtoOne, I would use the room towels, they are free to use and you won't have to drag them back home to wash yourself.

THIS.:thumbsup2
I promise your kids will be just as happy on vacation sleeping in non-
Disney pj's or drying off at the pool with a non-Disney towel.;)
That being said, there are plenty of pre-buy items that can save you $$$ - One of my biggest regrets was not packing enough sunscreen. After 10 days of the 4 of us using it a couple of times a day..the two big bottles ran out. I had to spend $13.00 for a small bottle. OUCH.

It's a heck of a lot cheaper to buy one Disney t-shirt in Disney World than it is to be buying 4 or 5 t-shirts ahead of time. Do the kids really need that many? And what's wrong with the PJs that they have now? Same for the hairbows. Is a Mickey/Minnie bow necessary in order to enjoy the trip?

Back away from the keyboard. disconnect the mouse and go freeze you credit/debit card in a block of ice until the night before you leave.

You're on Disney overload, girl! And you must be stopped before you purchase again!

I feel ya, girl. I am spending a fortune on stuff to "save us money" or make things easier at Disney. I need to STOP SHOPPING. It is so fun to plan and prepare though, and there is so much Disney stuff available.

:goodvibes I am so glad I read this thread lol I too have been looking for things to buy before our trip to 'save' money! Including the shirts and towels. Im going to take this as a sign I should STOP the shopping lol.
