Planning for a freind and not sure hpw to help

I am helping my BFF plan her first Disney trip and she wants to have the dinning plan she is going for 9 days and her is my deli ma.... She is doing 3 days at Disney parks and two days at universal and 2 days at lego land.. She wants to use the regular dinning plan option but I cant seem to plan her days for the credits.l How would you use the dinning plan with being out of the parks that many days... should she use the quick service plan instead and just pay for table service if they want out of pocket? please help

With roughly half the trip outside of the Disney Parks, I can't recommend any of the dining plans for your friend. QS plan in general I don't recommend (at least, for 2013, and for 2012 it's iffy), for DDP she'd have to be using the QS for lunches and the TS for dinners to really make it work (or swapped is ok in the case of some restaurants, that is TS for lunch QS for dinner). I don't see how she'd get that value out of it though with 4 whole days not in the WDW resort area.

I would suggest she take lunch from the grab and go section of her resort for her off property days (pre made sandwich, fruit or chips,bottled beverage Or cold pizza makes a good lunch too). If she brings along a cooler she can leave it in her car and head out the the parking lot while at Universal and Lego.
Then I would plan TS dinners at resorts or DTD at a time she can make after leaving the off property park, perhaps even going straigt to dinner from her off property park.

I'm with Cafeen. No dining plan. If she is not going to use it, it won't be a good deal for her, and using it means that she will have to return to Disney property to eat. If she's aware of that and wants it anyway, no need to worry about whether she uses all her credits.
