We will be taking our first trip HOME to BLT next February. So we don't have to take the kids out of school, we have decided on President's Week.

Who has been this week? How are the crowds?

I have only been there President's weekend...it was more crowded than normal, but nothing that would keep me away.

So how were the crowds that week?

I can't wait until I can make this ressie...next month! We will be staying in a MK View Studio for our first trip. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Since President's day is on Monday it would make sense that the weekend would be a higher traveled time. I don't know of any businesses or school districts that give more than Monday off. Maybe there would be a bit more traffic because people would only have to take 4 days off instead of 5, but I don't think it would be a noticeable difference. This is just my speculation, not experience talking.

I know NJ and NY have that week off. Connecticut has the week before (this week).

Here in New York, it's our Winter Break...we aren't off in March like most of the Country. We are off again for Easter Break. ;)

in michigan most schools are out this week, thats why we go to disney in sept and are skiing during break

President's week is a big time off from schools here in northern MN too...probably the rest of the state but I can't say for sure. We also have another week in April but it varies from year to year...sometimes Easter week, sometimes not. I think you will have lots of company! Good luck.:)

Think of it this way - you'll have lots of company but you'll be out of New York in Florida where is 80° and sunny while your neighbors are shoveling snow and hibernating in their houses. Would you rather deal with crowds or scrape ice? I'll take the crowds anyday.
