Planning first trip and need golf help

I am finally going to Disney!!!! I am 42 and DH is 40. We are taking the "boy" lol but he is 16 and we are taking a friend so they can entertain themselves. (they will be almost 17 by the time we go). My Dh loves to golf and I want to stay on a resort on Disney that is golf oriented. That way he can have a great time and I get to see Mickey!! (hoping for a kiss!) I have read over these boards and just can't find any info on a good golfing resort. Any suggestions? He is not a pro but isn't too bad.

Hi Welcome to the DISboardsDisney really doesn't have a golf oriented resort( That I know of ).We've gone golfing a few times and they send a complementary taxi for pick-up and return.For course info look up toward the top of this page and click on the sub category Planning. On the new page, click on the sub category Recreation and there will be the info on the courses.Seeing that your child is 17 you might want to stay at the Epcot resort area,which I think has more to offer older children and adults.FORE!

OKW is located right on a golf course. Not sure if that helps
