We´re thinking of going to DLP in October for a quick Disney fix (mom, dad and 3 kids: 2,7,9). We´ll probably be driving in so transport won´t be a problem. However I have a lot of other questions.

How many days do I need for DLP. Are 3 days too many/few?

I´m lookin into staying at the Holiday Inn. Has anyone stayed there?

We´ll have a week from saturday to saturday, so we were thinking of spending 3 days in the parks and using 4 days to see Paris. We´ld prefer to stay at the same hotel the whole time and with the internet rate of 75 Euros a night, the Holiday Inn seems like a good option.

What do you think?

Thanks

I can't advise about hotels, but I think 3 days is perfect. I'd allow two days for the Magic Kingdom, and one for the Studios. You could squeeze the MK into one day, but it would be tight, and you wouldn't get to see everything, especially in October, when it's quite crowded.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night and then stayed at the Newport Bay for 3 nights. I honestly wished I stayed at the Holiday Inn for all 3 nights. It was very clean, the busses were efficient and for the price it was a great deal.

Why is Disneyland Paris so crowded in October. I have also already planned a trip from Oct 10-14 of this year. We avoided the week of Halloween in hopes of avoiding any major crowds.

I'm not sure about French schools, but all schools in the UK are given a week's holiday in mid-October, which adds to the crowds significantly.

Well that's not good. I think I may be right there in the middle of it. We will be there the second week of October. Maybe the UK vacation is the 3rd week. After we leave Disneyland, we plan to go to London for 4 more days. I appreciate your information.

School holidays will be the week beginning the 25th October. So it shouldn't be too crowded before that week.
