Planning Fastpasses (with onsite stay)

When I do the Fastpass bookings at 60 days out, will MDE recognize the fact that I will be going to three different consecutive Disney resorts ? (ie:will I be able to book all 10 days worth of Fastpasses from the first day of arrival at the first resort for all three location stays). Thanks

So you have 1 trip plan and are staying at 3 different resorts?

I have no personal experience with split stays but from what I’ve on in here no, you will not be able to book for your whole trip, each new resort stay is a new 60 window I believe.

Split Stays

In February 2019, FP booking windows for split stays changed significantly. Back-to-back onsite stays no longer allow FPs to be booked earlier than normal for the second stay. You can now only book 60 days ahead of check-in day for each stay (for length of that stay) separately.

ETA March 28, 2019: The FP and split stay situation continues to evolve, check recent posts in this thread for the most up-to-date information. When the dust settles, I’ll update this post as appropriate.

The first quote is from the FP sticky. If I understand it correctly, you may have to do them 3 different times, but you may not. I didn't see any recent posts, but only looked at the last couple pages.

I heard that changed though - each reservation has its own 60 day window.

The current state of affairs is that the split stay/booking window relationship is back to the way it used to be - stay #1 opens all of your subsequent consecutive stays.

This went away for a bit earlier this year (hence what’s in the sticky) but has currently evolved back.

Then DSS is clueless of this because last I spoke to them if we book CL FP they can only do so for our first stay and we have to wait another 5 days before being able to book the 2nd half.

CLFPs in that program act differently - those have to be booked 90 days from your check-out day of each stay. Or you could wait until 90 days from check-out of Stay #2 and do them all at once.

I for one am glad they're reverting back -- so this means that if we have all our tickets loaded onto the first stay, we can book FPs for the length of those tickets when 60 days start based on our first check-in date, correct?

Correct as long as your valid ticket timeframe encompasses all your park dates.
