Sorry if this has been done before. Booked for may 2014 and wonder where I can get an old planning dvd and some park maps to get my two excited? Thanks

I think the only way to get a current planner is to create your own online, as they aren't posted to UK residents anymore. I can't remember the address but if you google it should bring it up - AFAIK it's only online so you can't burn it to DVD, annoyingly.

Unless someone else knows something I don't! :)

If you have a tablet then get iBooks, you can then store the PDF park maps for free.

Yes, they stopped the DVD's in the UK a couple of years ago. My DD still watches them on youtube and she also watches Must Do Disney (over and over and over ......)

Thanks for those tips. Will download ibooks tonight and watch must do disney on you tube. I had ideas of sitting down watching a dvd together as tablets just aren't the same (I know I sound old)!

No, that's fair enough :) you can often find paper maps on eBay, or a nice DISer who is prepared to post you some :)

Welcome, btw!:wizard:

OMG I just watched Must Do Disney 2013 and it sooooooooooooo transported me straight back to a Disney hotel room ......... this is very, very , very cool and I will definitely watching this again and again and again :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Depends on how computer savvy you are feeling?

Mousebits have a lot of the old planning Dvd's to download. You do need bit torrent and some way to burn it onto a DVD once downloaded though.

I downloaded the 2003 DVD last night which I'm waiting for an opportunity to watch. They also have the old souvenir videos, I still watch my old ones circa 1980's and the 1990's ones, but that is just my nostalgic side!

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I don't have to worry about a 'sudden' jolt of nostalgia .... ever since our first trip, DD has maintained the habit of walking into the resort room and putting the TV onto Must Do Disney and leaving it there. It is fair to say I have never seen anything else on a Disney resort TV - ever! I get up and turn it off when she's fallen asleep! And that happens every night when she goes to bed too. So although they have updated it and changed it about, she still likes Stacy's one. Effectively I have heard it play on a loop for over 5 years :lmao:

i agree, i much prefer "watching on tv"...maybe you could get yourself a lead from tablet to tv?

OMG! just started watching Must Do Disney.... am i a complete loon for eyes filling up all emotional? :) can't wait to watch it with DD!!

If you've got an ipad then you can buy a lead to connect it into your tv - if it's quite a new telly. I've got the HDMI one that I got from vodafone's website for £10 - I think they normally retail at about £30 though. This is great as you can watch anything off you tube or the WDW site on your TV.
My kids love it too! :)

And there goes the productivity of every DISer's day today :lmao: :rotfl:

Errr yes Lee as I'm posting this from my desk as I'm still at work lol!

we use to put this on as soon as we got in the room but DH is not keen on Stacey, he much preferred Crissa or whatever her name was (the blonde one who screamed a lot!!:rolleyes1)..personally I liked it when Bill Nye the Science guy did it...:rotfl:

Our favourite planning DVD was the 2005 one with Dave, the 'relaxation specialist'. We still watch it to get us in the Disney mood.

There is also an advert for Cyprus that has music which reminds me so much of the music on the La Nouba advert. That always takes me straight back to a Disney hotel room :)

I've downloaded the Must Do Disney 2013 with Stacey onto my ipad so I can watch any time I like :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I don't think I've seen any episodes with Ted's sister - I will look out for her!
