Looking to plan a trip to Disneyland for Christmas 2026. We want to stay close to resort with parking. Looking at Candy Cane Inn as we’re looking to try a new place as Hilton really disappointed last trip. Do I need to find out when booking open for hotel and book on first day open? Any advice will be much appreciated.

If the dates you want aren't currently available online, just call CCI and ask them how soon you can book. They are the nicest folks you'll ever meet and will be glad to answer all your questions!

They will be full all month, no doubt especially the first two weeks until MKs are all blocked. A lot of people like me come from out of town during that time...we're "quasi" locals lol.

What I mean is that most of their clientele have been coming there for years...they aren't the one-timers who usually want a Disney property.

If you’re booking hotel only, not tickets you can book your room as soon as you know your dates. Call the hotel and find out when they might be available for December 2026. If you’re wanting to book a package, hotel and tickets together, packages are already available

Most hotels seem to have a 11 months calendar. Meaning for December 2026 you won't be able to book until January 2026. But I agree give them a call.

Candy Cane Inn is wonderful. I think the calendar will be up in the next couple of months but you can call and ask or send them a message via their website.
