Boy, I really really wish they still had the villains meal at the GF. Are they EVER bringing this back? Or anything similar?
I see they have added more princess meals - and that's fine, I know Cindy's is a huge hit and hard to get in - but geez.
My boys will be 11 and 8 on our next trip in October. They still very much enjoy the characters, but are kind of "over" Pooh & friends (especially the oldest). We love character meals, but it's really hard to have a lot of variety when planning character meals for boys that age.
Right now, I'm planning:
Donald's Breakfastosaurus @ AK = we adored this on our last trip, and my oldest is crazy about Donald so this is a must-do.
Chef Mickey's @ the Contemp = we did the dinner last time and loved it. I think we will do the breakfast this time for a little change.
Liberty Tree Tavern @ MK = we did Crystal Palace last time, but like I said... so.over.Pooh. So I thought we'd try this one for dinner.
'Ohana Lilo & Stitch Best Friends @ the Poly = in my quest to find something *different* that they would enjoy, this is all I came up with. They love Stitch (especially the youngest) and my hubby is crazy about the Poly (very fond childhood memories there), so I think this one will be a hit.
Note that besides 'Ohana, they're mostly character repeats.
Does anyone have any suggestions for character meals with some variety? Or ones that appeal to boys with the theming? Maybe I'm overlooking some. I personally would love to do a princess meal (and I suspect hubby would too
), but I think the boys would feel a little uncomfortable... the oldest is "at that age", after all.
